Summer is almost over

Not that I'm counting the days til school starts again or anything.

I've enjoyed having the CHOICE to keep my kids home with me this summer. I wasn't forced to have to put them in daycare and not get to enjoy any summer with them. They're still little, so there's still a lot of whining that goes on and all day every day of that can get to one frazzled mom, but nonetheless I'm glad I'm here for them.

As fall and the holiday season rolls around, I've been talking with more and more people that are interested in starting their own business. There are many reasons for it, but it usually boils down to extra cash and security. What's your reason for wanting your own business? I enjoy the flexibility of being able to be home when the kids need me if they're sick or there's no school or daycare. I so love that I have the power to CHOOSE to send my daughter to a sitter or daycare because I want or need to. I enjoy not having to drag them (or myself) out of bed at un-Godly hours in the morning and racing traffic to get to the office on time. And I enjoy having the power to control my own destiny and income. The harder I work, the more I make. When I slack off, so does my income. BUT, to a certain extent, my business can keep going even when I take a day off.

Would you like to have the same freedom? Drop me a line or check out my website at www.SmellMyCandleBiz.info ~ Look forward to hearing from you!

Scent Samples

I love handing out scent samples! There's nothing better than bringing a smile to someone's face. Scents have a way of doing that. They can remind us of days of old... invoking memories of grandma's kitchen, holidays together, the flower garden...

It's funny to see how people will hang on to that little sample bag and put it up to their noses over and over and over, and smile each time! I have a friend that has a sample in her bag, it's been there forever, but every time she comes across it, she takes a big whiff and smiles.

Samples are just a hint of what comes from a jar... enough scent to fill your house! Let me know if you'd like a sample or two, I'd love to share what we have with you!

Scent of the Month - Rain Forest

... An exotic scent of lush plants, makes you feel like your outside on a sunny day!

This is one of our nicest 'natural' scents! It reminds me of a flower shop... the mixed up smells of all sorts of plants and flowers at the same time.

If you'd like to smell a sample, drop me a note at MiaBellaLisa@bellsouth.net and I'd be happy to send you a scent sample so you can sniff it yourself. As always, you're invited to stick your nose in my business... check out http://www.smellmycandlebiz.com/!

Fundraisers

Do you need a fundraiser? Everyone needs funding! Kids schools, clubs, sports teams, church groups, and other non-profits... I can help!

Did you know that 90% of women use candles? At least 60% of them enjoy scented candles. What better way to provide a fundraiser - you raise much needed money and your supporters actually get a high quality product in return.

Your group members will ear $5 from each candle that they sell. The math is pretty easy to see how quickly you can add up some pretty good earnings. Say you have 20 members / students. If each of those members sells just 5 candles, you will have earned $500. Ten candles would earn $1000! And that's just a small group. What could your group do with that extra money? Use it for much needed items? Donate it to a specific charity? With the spring holidays coming up, folks can always use a gift to have on hand, or enjoy the great smelling all natural candles themselves! Think... Easter, Secretary's Day, Mother's Day, Teacher gifts....

Feel free to email or call if you have any questions. Check out our product line at www.SmellMyCandle.com.
